Justice for Girls

Background

People Serving Girls At Risk (PSGR) is a frontline abolitionist organization working to end all forms of sexual exploitation against girls and women – prostitution, sex trafficking, pornography, and forced child marriages. We believe in a world free from exploitation.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a world where every community has the resources and support it needs to thrive. We are committed to promoting sustainable development and empowering individuals to make a positive impact.

Our Values

Aspiration

We want the very best for the women and children we support. We want to see them achieve the best possible future. A future that is fulfilling.

Tenacity

We will never stop fighting for the rights of women and children. We will work tirelessly to ensure that women and children get the best possible opportunity to have a better life.

Integrity

We hold ourselves to high standards in our practice. PSGR Trustees, staff and volunteers will conduct themselves with professionalism at all times and promote our behaviours and values at all times.

Compassion

PSGR offers compassionate care that is survivor-centred. We do not judge women.

Collaboration

We will work alongside women and their children. We will work in partnership with stakeholders and the community. We value co-production and will try to ensure that the people who use our services are involved in the design

We need to join together to support these girls and women in a holistic way. We will be missing the mark if we don’t support them with all of the things they need, like life skills and coaching, along the way so that they can create a sustainable lifestyle

Economic empowerment is essential to achieving women’s rights and gender equality, ensuring women can equally participate in and benefit from decent work and social protection; access markets and have control over resources, their own time, lives, and bodies; and increased voice, agency, and meaningful participation in economic decision-making at all levels from the household to international institutions
